Affiliate disclosure

Some pages on HomeSolarMath contain affiliate links: links to stores or services that pay us a commission when someone buys after clicking. The store pays the commission; your price is the same as if you went to the store directly.

How to recognize them

• Pages with affiliate links say so at the top of the text.
• Affiliate links go through an address on this site that starts with /ir/ before taking you to the store, and open in a new tab.
• They are marked as sponsored for search engines.

How we choose what to recommend

Our calculators work the same with or without affiliate links: the results come from public data and published formulas, and a commission never changes a number. When we suggest products, we base it on the specifications each manufacturer publishes, with the date we checked them, and on the result of your calculation. A commission does not change the order or content of a comparison, and we also mention options we have no agreement with.

Prices and terms are set by each company and can change: check them on their site before you buy. The purchase, the service and the support are the store's responsibility.

Your information

We do not store in our database who clicks an affiliate link, and we do not send your information to the store: the redirect does not share the page you came from. Like any visit, the click is recorded in the server's technical logs. Once you reach its site, the store may use cookies to know that you came from here and credit the purchase, under its own privacy policy. More details in our privacy policy.
